This brand new innovative bass enhancer adds an unthinkable thud / slam to your music, and gives you a very round, full bass, previously unattainable. It is notan equalizer. It does not boost the bass, and it is not a subharmonic syntherizer, but rather it intelligently restructures and realigns the components of the bass waveform for maximum impact.

Phase Rotation is a commonly used techique in audio processing — but there are many different ways to do it.

Purposefully, Phase Rotation is usually done to remove asymmetry in voices, or to spread out the peaks of harmonic-rich instruments such as saxophone, so that they can better survive the final peak control stage. It can also be used to add slam / thud.

Unintentionally, Phase Rotation happens in non-phase-linear crossovers in audio processors — especially those with overly sharp filters, or overly many bands (or both). Nonetheless, the impulse response (=phase response) of any processor, is part of the “sound” of the processor.

Breakaway Broadcast contains a Phase Scrambler — different from traditional Phase Rotators in that it rotates phase alternately forward and backwards for different frequencies. This enables it to do an effective job with minimal audible impact. Nevertheless, some people may want to use a traditional Phase Rotator as an effect. So, here are a few!
